A glimpse of your daily life
- Keep the accounting records up to date and make the necessary entries in our accounting software.
- Process customer payment deposits (cheque, wire transfer, credit card, Interac, cash).
- Reconcile bank accounts.
- Analyze and reconcile insurance company reports.
- Follow up accounts payable and receivable and make payments.
- Manage expense accounts and credit cards.
- Work with other departments to ensure accuracy of financial information. Respect internal policies and ensure compliance with accounting standards.
- And through all this, you represent the Fort values.
The Profile We’re Looking For
- You have experience in a similar role.
- You are highly organized, self-reliant and have a keen eye for detail.
- You have good communication and teamwork skills.
- You can juggle multiple priorities while meeting deadlines.
- You are comfortable using computer tools (Office suite).
- If you have a degree in accounting or a related field, that is a great asset.
